8 More Days!!!

I hate to sound like a 16 year old upon seeing Justin Bieber's latest music video, but OMG! I'm headed off to France in 7 days and 23 hours!! I have to say that I'm getting pretty nervous. I have to really get on my packing but I wish I had my car in order to get everything.

In February or late January the rear left strut went and Canadian Tire wanted $500 to fix BOTH because "it's safer that way." Needless to say I told them to blow it out their a-hole and had it towed home to be taken to the junkyard at some point. So now I'm left to try to get a lot of errands done via the Kingston Transit system which, as of late, has been pretty unreliable. And I love the bus system here, being a Westie I got to know it pretty well and I can get pretty much anywhere I need to in Kingston. But right now all the students are moving out and all the extra traffic is making it harder to get places on time.

ANYHOOZLE.

I also just saw the new A Nightmare on Elm Street and it was okay. There were some neat references to the original, but I'm not a fan of the films that go for the surprise factor. i.e. - 30 seconds of the main character walking around, looking around with a flashlight then, BOO! Oh, oh snap it was only a dog, reflection, doll, etc. Then walking walking walking OH NO IT'S THE KILLER.

Not a fan. But the girl who plays Nancy started looking very similar to Bridget in Gingersnaps. Not nearly enough Johnny Deppery. And by not nearly enough I mean none. Sigh. Oh well :).

AAAAHH STRESS!! Gah. :P The weather's looking good in France! 25 degrees later this week so I'm going to buy some denim shorts tomorrow. Not like daisy duke short because I do not have the backside fo' that. But I figure denim goes with pretty much any colour and I've never owned a pair so now's the time! Carpe the shorts!

Cheers!
