12 Days to Go!

Days 'til Departure: 12

The countdown is on! It's just under two weeks until I head to France for the Cannes Film Festival and I am absolutely terrified. I'm excited too, but I recently learned that Jean-Luc Godard (Breathless) is going to be there and I think my heart stopped.

Other notable attendees are Woody Allen, Ridley Scott, Russell Crowe, Tim Burton, Juliette Binoche and all kinds of professional filmmies. I was hoping Mickey Rourke was going to be there, because I cannot deny my love of the hot mess that is MR and his gravelly voice.

I was hoping that my short film would be ready in time to bring to the festival, but I didn't get it in on time and didn't have the moneys to ship it. Oh well. I'll throw it on my DVD of my work and hope I can get it out to some important folks.


The things I think I'm the most nervous about is what my job is going to be while I'm there and if I'm going to represent myself well enough. It's less than two weeks away and I still have a lot to do so that's making me nervous as well!

To do this week:

• Get dress altered
  
• Make DVD copies of my 451 film
  
• Get DVD's to burn my demos
  
• Make business cards
